"JUST REMEMBER, YOU CAN'T WIN THE GAME IF YOU DON'T EVEN PLAY IT."

"JUST REMEMBER, YOU CAN'T WIN THE GAME IF YOU DON'T EVEN PLAY IT."

What U really wanted was "Coffee", not the "Cup"

Worth reading-

A group of friends visited their old university professor.

Conversation soon turned to complaints about

'STRESS' & 'TENSION' in Life.

Professor offered them Coffee & returned from kitchen with Coffee in different kinds of cups

(Glass Cups, Crystal Cups, Shining Ones, Some Plain Looking, Some Ordinary & Some Expensive Ones.

When all of them had a Cup in Hand,

the professor said:-

"If U noticed-

all the Nice Looking & Expensive Cups are taken up,

leavng-behind the ordinary ones.

Everyone of U wanted The Best CUPS,

&

that is the source of Ur STRESS & TENSION.

What U really wanted was

"Coffee", not the "Cup",

But U still went for the Best Cup.

If Life is Coffee,

Then Jobs, Money, Status & power, etc are the Cups.

They are just TOOLS to hold and contain Life.

Remember the cups are only to support you, don't get stuck in the cups.

Enjoy your coffee

"Problems are common but attitude make the difference."

All birds find shelter during a rain. But eagle avoids rain by flying above the clouds. "Problems are common but attitude make the difference."

MUST READ: FEAR is just an illusion...

MUST READ: FEAR is just an illusion. Remove it from your consciousness by ACTION.

Start doing something you love on a daily basis.

Do not think too much about your big goals all day long and get stressed, start thinking about small events and give your best to achieve success in them.

When you build this habit of success in everyday life, the fear will be gone.

Those people who live their life passionately, fear seldom find a room in their heart.

ALL GREAT ACHIEVEMENT START WITH MANY SMALL SUCCESS ONLY.

I DON'T KNOW YOUR DREAMS...

"I DON'T KNOW YOUR DREAMS.
I HAVE NO IDEA AS TO YOUR DESIRES.
I LIKELY DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU PERSONALLY....
...BUT I DO KNOW
WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF.
IT'S PURE POSSIBILITY.
IT'S A CORE MADE OF POWER.
IT'S A MIND MADE FOR VISIONS.
IT'S A HEART BUILT FOR LOVE.
IT'S A SPIRIT DESIGNED TO WOW."

EXCELLENCE...

A German once visited a temple under
construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God...

Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby...
Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you
need two statues of the same idol?"
"No," said the sculptor
without looking up, "We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage..."

The gentleman
examined the idol and found no apparent damage...

"Where is the damage?" he asked.
"There is a scratch on the nose of the idol." said the sculptor, still
busy with his work....

"Where are you going to install the idol?"

The sculptor replied that it would be
installed on a
pillar twenty feet high...

"If the idol is that far who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?"
the gentleman asked.

The sculptor stopped work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said,

"I will know it..."

The desire to excel is exclusive of the fact whether someone else appreciates it or not....

"Excellence" is a
drive from inside, not outside....

Excellence is not for
someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction and efficiency.

"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU START. ONLY THAT YOU BEGIN."

"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU START. ONLY THAT YOU BEGIN."

Who is happy???

A Crow Lived in the Forest and was absolutely satisfied in life.

But one day he saw a swan...
This swan is so white and I am so black...crow thought.

This swan must be the happiest bird in the world.

He expressed his thoughts to the swan.
"Actually," the swan replied,

"I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colors.
I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation."

The crow then approached the parrot.
The parrot explained,
"I lived a very happy life—until I saw a peacock.
I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors."

The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him.

After the people had left,
The crow approached the Peacock..

Dear Peacock,
You are so beautiful.
Every day thousands of people come to see you.
When people see me,
they immediately shoo me away.
I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.

The peacock replied,
I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet.
But because of my beauty,
I am entrapped in this zoo.

I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage.

So for past few days I have been thinking that if I were a crow,
I could happily roam everywhere.

That's our problem too.

We make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad.

We don't value what has God given us.
This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness.

Value the things god has given us.

Learn the secret of being happy and discard the comparison which leads only to unhappines..

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE WAY THINGS WERE

"EVERY MINUTE SPENT WORRYING ABOUT THE WAY THINGS WERE IS A MOMENT STOLE FROM CREATING THE WAY THINGS CAN BE."

Walking is the best exercise!

Walking' is the best exercise!

'Walk Away' from arguments that lead you to no where but anger.

'Walk Away' from people who deliberately put you down.

'Walk Away' from any thought that reduces your worth.

'Walk Away' from failures and fears that stifle your dreams.

The more you 'Walk Away' from things that poison your soul, the happier your life will be...

Forgive those who have angered you.

Forgive those who have angered you.

Once, a Junior School teacher asked her students to bring some tomatoes in a plastic bag to school. Each tomato will be given a name of the person whom that child hates. Like this, the number of tomatoes will be equal to the number of persons they hate.

On a decided day, the children brought their tomatoes well addressed. Some had two, some had three and some had even five tomatoes .

Teacher said they have to carry tomatoes with them everywhere they go for a week.

As the days passed the children started to complain about the spoiled smell of tomatoes . Students who had many tomatoes complained it was very heavy to carry.

Teacher asked, "How did you feel this one week?"

Children complained of smell & heavy weight of the tomatoes .

Teacher said, "This is very similar to what you carry in heart when you don't like some people.

Hatred makes heart unhealthy and you carry that hatred everywhere.

If you can't bear the smell of spoiled tomatoes for a week, imagine the impact on your heart that you carry throughout  life."

Heart is a beautiful garden that needs regular cleaning of unwanted weeds.

Forgive those who have angered you.

This makes room for storing good things...

"WHEN YOU MOST FEEL LIKE GIVING UP IS WHEN YOU MOST NEED TO BE KEEPING ON."

There was a king he had 10 wild dogs...

There was a king he had 10 wild dogs...
He used them to torture and eat all ministers who made mistakes.

So one of the minister’s once gave an opinion which was wrong, and which the king didn’t like at all…
So he ordered that the minister to be thrown to the dogs.

So the minister said,
"I served you 10 years and you do this..?

Pease give me 10 days before you throw me in with those dogs!
So the king agreed…

In those 10 days the minister went to the guard that was guarding the dogs and told him he wants to serve the dogs for the next 10 days…

The guard was baffled…
But he agreed…
So the minister started feeding the dogs, cleaning for them, washing them, providing all sorts of comfort for them.

So when the 10 days were up…

The king ordered that the minister be thrown in to the dogs for his punishment.

But when he was thrown in,

Everyone was amazed at what they saw..
They saw the dogs licking the feet of the minister!

So the king baffled at what he saw… Said:” what happened to the dog. !!!”

The minister then said;”
I served the dogs for 10 days and they didn’t forget my service…
Yet I served you for 10 years and you forgot all at the first mistake!”…

So the king realised his mistake

and

Got wolves instead😂

1. Don't be like the minister, change jobs at appropriate time so that you are not thrown to the dogs;

2. Don't be the dogs, as you can be thrown out for foxes and wolves.

Love your job, not your company. Because your love for job will get you other jobs, but love for company will either get you to dogs and wolves when company stops loving you....👌👉👍

The Brick

THE BRICK

A young and successful
executive was traveling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar.  He was
watching for kids darting out from between parked
cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.

As his car passed, no children appeared.
Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!
He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to
the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the
car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up
against parked car shouting,

'What was that all about and who are you?  Just what the heck are you doing?  That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money.
Why did you do it?'  The young boy was apologetic.
'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop....' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car.  'It's my
brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive,

'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair?

He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling
lump in his throat... He hurriedly lifted the
handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts.  A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger.  Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very
noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door.

He kept the dent there to remind him of this message:

'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to
get your attention!'  God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts.

Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us.

It's our choice to listen or not

THE BAMBOO STORY

The Bamboo Story

If you’ve been to a “motivational” seminar or heard someone talk about success in, say, the last 10 years, you’ve probably heard the “Bamboo Story.”

The Bamboo Story goes something like this…

“The Bamboo is amazing. You water it and wait. You wait an entire year and nothing appears. No bud, no twig, nothing.

“So you keep watering and protecting the area and taking care of the future plant. You wait another year. Still, nothing happens.

“Another year passes, and still no sign of growth. It has been three years. Should you give up? Someone told you that it might take a while to really see the fruits of your efforts, so you keep on keeping on.

“Another year passes. No plant.

“You begin year number five with the same passion as day number one. You keep watering and keep waiting. Finally, after five years, the Bamboo starts growing-and in six weeks, it grows to over 80 feet tall! Yes, 80 feet in six weeks! Well, not really. It is 80 feet in five years.

“The point is simple. If you had given up for even the shortest period of time, there would be no Bamboo. It took almost impossible persistence. The plant is there for one reason and one reason only-because you never gave up on it.”

This story is supposed to illustrate the power of persistence and never giving up.
But think about it…

You watered it for the first year and didn’t see any results. The second, third, fourth, and even fifth year, you did the SAME THING and got the SAME RESULT.

That means you spent more than 1,825 days doing the SAME THING, getting the SAME RESULT, and expecting something DIFFERENT.

And that’s what most people are doing in their lives.

They keep doing the SAME THING, getting the SAME RESULT, and expecting something DIFFERENT.

How’s THAT workin’ for ya?

Look, I get it: The Bamboo suddenly shoots up from the ground after your long, arduous years of sacrifice and patience, thereby showing the benefit of faith and persistence.

Just one problem: The millionaires I’ve coached and worked with have NEVER used this formula!

Do you honestly think Donald Trump or Ted Turner would sit there and water their non-existent plant for five years before seeing any results? Not on your life.

So here’s the reality-and I know some people are going to hate me for saying this, but here goes:

The only purpose of the Bamboo Story is to make you feel better when you’re getting lousy results in your life.

Sure, it feels good for someone to come along and say, “Hey, I know things look bad right now… But don’t worry. Just keep doing what you’re doing, and I’m SURE it’ll turn around eventually!”

But that is a recipe for disaster.

I am Exhibit A. Several years ago, my business was struggling. I was providing great information, and my clients were getting awesome results, but my company wasn’t showing any profits. In fact, every month we were going deeper in debt.

Not coincidentally, the woman who was my business partner at the time subscribed to the Bamboo Theory. She told me, day after day: “Don’t worry. Things will turn around. It just takes time!”

But I never believed her. I told her over and over again:

Time is UTTERLY IRRELEVANT when it comes to success.

The only thing that’s relevant is following a BETTER STRATEGY.

Naturally, she didn’t listen to me. That’s why we’re not business partners anymore!

Now think about this…

Let’s say you are doing the WRONG things for the WRONG reasons. And you keep doing the WRONG things for the WRONG reasons.

Is doing that longer going to get you better results?

Of course not.

But you’d be amazed by how many people succumb to the Bamboo Theory. (We’ve probably all done it at some time in our lives.)

So here’s what I want you to keep in mind:

Nature can make a Bamboo plant grow because Nature has a hidden SYSTEM that works.

Nature also has hidden Systems for healing your body, digesting your food, making babies, and millions of other things we experience every day.

But we don’t necessarily know how those hidden Systems work. And even if the Bamboo Story were true, it wouldn’t make any difference-because the person watering the Bamboo doesn’t know what caused it grow so fast in the first place!

When we succumb to worn-out cliches like the Bamboo Story, all we’re doing is perpetuating the belief that “things will somehow work out”… without taking responsibility for our own ACTIONS and RESULTS.

I’m all for persistence. I’m all for believing that things will work out for the best. I’m all for having faith.

What I’m NOT for is telling people that continuing to do the wrong things will somehow make things work out.

You have more power than you think.

Don’t succumb to the belief that spending more TIME doing the wrong things will somehow create the RESULTS you want.

Take control. Take action.

And if you’re not getting the results you want, try something new.

It’s only by following a better STRATEGY-not “hoping” for something better-that you’ll see better results, and a real change for the better, in your life.

Life Is Worthwhile If You LEARN, TRY, STAY, CARE.

Life Is Worthwhile If You LEARN, TRY, STAY, CARE

1. Life is worthwhile if you LEARN.
You have to have learning to exist, let alone succeed. What you don’t know will hurt you. So you have to learn from your own experiences—negative or positive. We learn to do it right by first sometimes doing it wrong—we call that a positive negative. We also learn from other people’s experiences, both positive and negative, too. I’ve always said that it is too bad failures don’t give seminars. Obviously, we don’t want to pay them so they aren’t usually touring around giving seminars. But that information would be very valuable—we would learn how someone who had it all messed it up. Learning from other people’s adventures and mistakes is valuable information because we can learn what not to do without the pain of having tried and failed ourselves.
We learn by what we see, so pay attention. We learn by what we hear, so be a good listener. (Now, I do suggest that you should be a selective listener; don’t just let anybody dump into your mental factory.) We learn from what we read, so open a book (or two or three). Learn from lectures. Learn from songs. Learn from sermons. Learn from conversations with people who care. Always keep learning.
Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.

2. Life is worthwhile if you TRY.
You can’t just learn. Now you have to try something to see if you can do it. Try to make a difference. Try to make some progress. Try to learn a new skill, or a new sport. It doesn’t mean you can do everything, but there are a lot of things you can do, if you just try. Why not go all out? Try your best. Give it every effort.
How long should you try? Until.

3. Life is worthwhile if you STAY.
You have to stay from spring until harvest. What does that mean? If you have signed up for the day or for the game or for the project, see it through. Sometimes calamity comes and then it is worth wrapping it up—and that’s the end. But just don’t end in the middle. Maybe on the next project you pass, but on this one, if you signed up, stay until it’s finished—and always leave it better than you found it.
Some people plant in the spring and leave in the summer. If you’ve signed up for a season, see it through. You don’t have to stay forever, but at least stay until you see it through.

4. Life is worthwhile if you CARE.
If you care at all, you will get some results. If you care enough, you can get incredible results. Care enough to make a difference. Care enough to turn somebody around. Care enough to start a new enterprise. Care enough to change it all. Care enough to be the highest producer. Care enough to set some records. Care enough to win.
The more you care, the stronger you can be.

Coconut

A coconut seller was selling coconut water in a busy street.
A man came and asked the price. The coconut vendor said 30 rupees each after chipping the upper part and 25 rupees  if not chipped .

The man thought for a while and he said let me chip it myself and save 5 rupees.
The coconut seller further gave an idea and said you will save another 5 rupees if u go directly to my wholesaler.

The customer went to the wholesaler, who again gave a option. He said, if u go to the coconut groove, u will get at 15 each. The customer decided to directly go to the coconut groove and he was told by the farmer that if you climb the tree , u can pluck at 10 each.
He climbed and in the mid of his climb he fell down from the tree.
Sadly he was not having any medical insurance as did not have any advisor to advice and spent totally 4000 rupees for this treatment .

Finally decided that lets buy only through a proper channel and finally met that coconut seller, paid 30 rupees and enjoyed his coconut water.

Conclusion :
You can always try to buy insurance products online and try to save money but......think it before buy online insurance policy after claim who provide the service?

Face the challenges in your life.

Arm yourself with courage today to face the challenges in your life. You will not defeat everything that you face, but nothing is defeated until it is faced. Do not let the feelings of fear, uncertainty and discomfort stop you from making tough decisions.

Get out of bed. Turn off the television. Stop wasting time listening to negative conversations, including your own. Limit your distractions. Cancel your pity party. Pull yourself together and take total ownership for everything in your life. Do not waste your energy or take up space in your mind by blaming others or expecting them to rescue you. You are your knight in shining armor. You hold the key to unlocking your new future.

It does not matter how many times you have been knocked down. What matters most is that you continue to get back up. It is time to get it on and move your life forward by taking your power back. Place all bets on you and get busy! You deserve more...much, much more!

ONCE YOU BECOME FEARLESS, LIFE BECOMES LIMITLESS.

ONCE YOU BECOME FEARLESS, LIFE BECOMES LIMITLESS.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

This is a truly BEAUTIFUL piece please read this at a slow pace, digesting every word and in leisure...do not hurry....this is a treasure...

For those lucky to still be blessed with your Mom, this is beautiful

For those of them who aren't, this is even more beautiful. For those who are moms, you'll love this.

The young mother set her foot on the path of life. "Is this the long way?" she asked.

And the guide said:  "Yes, and the way is hard. And you will be old before you reach the end of it.

But the end will be better than the beginning." But the young mother was happy, and she would not believe that anything could be better than these years.

So she played with her children, and gathered flowers for them along the way, and bathed them in the clear streams; and the sun shone on them, and the young Mother cried,

"Nothing will ever be lovelier than this."

Then the night came, and the storm, and the path was dark, and the children shook with fear and cold, and the mother drew them close and covered them with her mantle, and the children said,

"Mother, we are not afraid, for you are near, and no harm can come."

And the morning came, and there was a hill ahead, and the children climbed and grew weary, and the mother was weary.

But at all times she said to the children," A little patience and we are there." So the children climbed, and when they reached the top they said,

"Mother, we would not have done it without you."

And the mother, when she lay down at night looked up at the stars and said,"This is a better day than the last, for my children have learned fortitude in the face of hardness.

Yesterday I gave them courage. Today, I ' ve given them strength."

And the next day came strange clouds, which darkened the earth, clouds of war and hate and evil, and the children groped and stumbled, and the mother said: "Look up. Lift your eyes to the light."

And the children looked and saw above the clouds an everlasting glory, and it guided them beyond the darkness. And that night the Mother said,

"This is the best day of all, for I have shown my children God."

And the days went on, and the weeks and the months and the years, and the mother grew old and she was little and bent.

But her children were tall and strong, and walked with courage. And when the way was rough, they lifted her, for she was as light as a feather; and at last they came to a hill, and beyond they could see a shining road and golden gates flung wide.

And mother said,"I have reached the end of my journey.

And now I know the end is better than the beginning, for my children can walk alone, and their children after them."

And the children said,

"You will always walk with us, Mother, even when you have gone through the gates."

And they stood and watched her as she went on alone, and the gates closed after her.  And they said:

"We cannot see her but she is with us still.

A Mother like ours is more than a memory.  She is a living presence......" Your Mother is always with you....

She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street; she's the smell of bleach in your freshly laundered socks; she's the cool hand on your brow when you're not well.

Your Mother lives inside your laughter. And she's crystallised in every teardrop.

She's the place you came from, your first home; and she's the map you follow with every step you take.

She's your first love and your first heartbreak, and nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space... not even death!

PASS THIS ON TO ALL THE MOTHERS & CHILDREN YOU KNOW. MAY WE NEVER TAKE OUR MOTHERS FOR GRANTED...

What I Have Learnt

I've learned - That you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

I've learned - that no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back.

I've learned - that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

I've learned - that it's not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts.

I've learned - that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better know something.

I've learned - that it's not what happens to people that's important. It's what they do about it.

I've learned - that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I've learned - that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I've learned - that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I've learned - that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.

I've learned - that learning to forgive takes practice.

I've learned - that money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I've learned - that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I've learned - that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I've learned - that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many years you've lived.

I've learned - that you should never tell a child their dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if they believed you.

I've learned - that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I've learned - that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others.

Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I've learned - that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.

l've learned - that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other and just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.

I've learned - that sometimes you have to put the individual ahead of their actions.

I've learned - that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

I've learned - that no matter how you try to protect your children, they will eventually get hurt and you will hurt in the process.

I've learned - that there are many ways of falling and staying in love.

I've learned - that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.

I've learned - that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I've learned - that writing, as well as talking, can ease emotional pains.

I've learned - that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I've learned - that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon.

Negative thoughts  and tensions are like birds! We cannot stop them from flying near us, however, we can certainly stop them from making a nest in our mind!

Don't take rest after your first victory. Because if you fail in second, more lips are waiting to say, that your first victory was just luck.

FROGS

A group of frogs was traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit.

All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.

The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the pit with all of their might.

The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead.

Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.

The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.

He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?"

The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

Lessons to be learnt:

1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.

2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill him or her.

Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words.... it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times.
Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.

take risks and conquer your fears.

take risks and conquer your fears.

Believe in You

A business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy. Suddenly an old man appeared before him. "I can see that something is troubling you," he said. After listening to the executive's woes, the old man said, "I believe I can help you." He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, "Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time." Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come. The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world! "I can erase my money worries in an instant!" he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought. With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again. Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the uncashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man. "I'm so glad I caught him!" she cried. "I hope he hasn't been bothering you. He's always escaping from the rest home and telling people he's John D. Rockefeller. " And she led the old man away by the arm. The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he'd been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him. Suddenly, he realized that it wasn't the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his newfound self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.

Reflection : We under estimate or some time over-estimate our power and potential, we MUST estimate...and it is there.......

Address the Basic

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat." "Is the man of the house home?", they asked. "No", she replied. "He's out." "Then we cannot come in", they replied. In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in. "We do not go into a House together," they replied. "Why is that?" she asked. One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home." The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!“ His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?“ Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!“ "Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest.“ The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.“ Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?“ The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"

A Pound of Butter

Once there was a farmer, who sold a pound of butter to a baker. One day the baker decided to weigh the butter to see if he was getting a pound and he found that he was not. This angered him and he took the farmer to the court. The judge asked the farmer if he was using any measure. The farmer replied, “Your Honor, I am primitive. I don’t have a proper measure, but I do have a scale.” The Judge asked, “Then how do you weigh the butter?” The farmer replied, “Your Honor, long before the baker started buying butter from me, I have been buying a pound of bread from him. Every day when the baker brings the bread, I put it on the scale and give him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, it is the baker.”

SMALL DAILY IMPROVEMENTS

"Small daily improvements over time lead to stunning results. Why?
Because consistency is the mother of mystery.
And incremental improvements are the father of exceptionalism."
